Eiko Ishibashi is a multi-instrumentalist known for her diverse activities ranging from electronic music to singer/songwriter to soundtracks for films and animation, and she is also an itinerant noise player who has played in many important noise bands in Japan such as Emergency Staircase, C.C.C.C., Incapacitants, etc. She also plays in Space Engine. Fumio Kosakai, who has played guitar in other bands, and Kimihide Kusabuka, a.k.a. K2, who has been seeking new ground since the dawn of Japanese industrial noise history, form the super no-wave band "RNA".

The 2018 performance at the Experimental Music Hall of Fame, Roppongi SuperDeluxe, is now available! An astonishing 40 minutes of chillingly incandescent, drastic interplay of drums, guitars, and electronics. Mixed & edited by Yasushi Utsunomiya, mastered by Soichiro Nakamura (PEACE MUSIC), art direction by Masahiko Ohno.

◆Biography
It all started around 2013 with a collaboration between K2 Kusabuka and Eiko Ishibashi, who met on SNS, and a collaboration between F. Kosakai, an old acquaintance, and Kusabuka, released around the same time. 3, with Ishibashi playing dr, Kosakai on g, and Kusabuka on electronics, at a 2015 reco. A piece band was formed. RNA has been performing at a leisurely pace, getting together only once a year for a live show. Their improvisational performance is noisy but unmistakably rock and no-wave.
