The legendary label that has been producing scum/noise/garbage bands in Japan for a long time since the 90s, announced its dissolution at the “Shijou Saiaku Last Gig" held at EARTHDOM in Shin-Okubo on September 22, 2018. The new album by the scum HC band Toilet no Hanako-san Band, which the label's representative Makoto Suzuki himself describes as "black history," is now complete! A definitive record of the finest noise-fast HC that lives up to its signature! The release is a 2-CD set with a bonus disc that includes a complete collection of past recordings supervised by the members of the label, Corpse Cassette, which specializes in the worst noises in the Far East and has inherited the worst spirits of all time!

The Toilet Hanako-san Band, a scum HC band, was formed by Mr. Suzuki, the representative of the Shijou Saiaku Kuso Label (SSKL), after working with the Waraningyo/Conxy Men in the late 90s. After working with Mr. Okada of the Tokyo-based noise grind band Meat Slave, they decided to form a new band called "Toilet no Hanako-san Band". The two hit it off and released a split tape with Meat Slave on SSKL, which became an explosive hit. They performed mainly at WATTS, a live house in Nishiogikubo, Tokyo, and also participated in an omnibus album on SSKL and cassettes on other labels. Later, he released his second split work with Meat Slave, a 7-inch record on SSKL, which attracted attention from HC/grind freaks in Japan and abroad, but he stopped his activities around 2004. Suzuki shifted the focus of his musical activities to bands such as Bakushinchi and Yoruoki.
In 2018, Suzuki dared to put the final nail in the coffin of SSKL's activities by organizing the “Shijou Saihaku LAST GIG". During that time, Mr. Suzuki's scum spirit was rekindled when he inadvertently performed a reunion show of Toilet no Hanako-san's band "just for fun. Together with Mr. Wada of Freaks Idol, with whom he worked with in the Toilet no Hanako-san Band, he called together members of the Tokyo noise band HAIGAN and the HC punk band Mosaics, in which Mr. Suzuki is currently a vocalist, to create a new Toilet no Hanako-san Band soundtrack. Recording. The cassette of corpses that had been watching with their fingers in their mouths was now ready to be released.

The new Toilet no Hanako-san Band's new album, "My Star is called Scum," is a work that all hardcore fans should check out without being confused by the word "scum. The drums are blasting and tight, the strings are heavy and colorful, and the vocals are screaming under the filter of noise that is not too assertive but effective. The music is influenced by fast/grindcore, of course, but it also has the essence of royal Japanese HC, and the members' musical skills and sense of style are evident in the music. The scum music explored by the Toilet Hanako-san band over a period of more than 20 years has become a one-of-a-kind junk hardcore sound. It has blossomed!

Also included on this release is a bonus disc containing all of the Toilet Hanako-san Band's songs released from 1998 to 2004. Under the supervision of Katsuya Sugita, the drummer of Hanako/HAIGAN, the band spent about a year collecting these extremely rare works, which even the members do not own. With the cooperation of Bakata Label and Evil Spirit Ghost, a full-volume bonus CD with 47 songs and 56 minutes of Hanako's black history was completed. We hope you will enjoy it in various ways, such as comparing it with the songs re-recorded in the main album, or throwing it around like a Frisbee.

Finally...

Hanako's tombstone needs no name!
If I die, it will be in the wilderness of Scum!
