『テンテンコひとり遊戯』 自主レーベル作品から選りすぐった14トラック! ジャンルや空間を自在に往来する愛らしきエレクトロ・ノイズ・ミュータント”TENTENKO”。 ライヴ会場や通販で発表してきた自主制作CD-R作品中でシリーズ化した「Deep & Moistures」から、選りすぐりトラックをテンテンコ本人と佐藤薫がコンパイル! 100%ハンドメイドの風合いと、どこかユーモラスでヒューマンなタッチが大きな魅力だ。無尽蔵のアイデアと無邪気なチャレンジ精神が伝わる全14トラック(含未発表曲) 令和元年のトップを飾るCDリリースの1枚は、新時代のミュータント・ポップを体現するテンテンコによる「Deep & Moistures: The Best of Private Tracks」だ。自主レーベル(テンテン・レコーズ)から毎月発表してきたプライベート作品のCD-Rは、これまでに約50枚のコレクションを形成しているが、中でも15枚以上のシリーズとして人気の高い”Deep & Moistures”から選りすぐった13トラックに、未発表曲を加え全14トラックがコンパイルされたのが本アルバム。鋭い重工業ビートで脳髄に切り込んでくるかと思えば、鼓膜をスルーしたノイズで内臓を刺激したり、人懐こくキャッチーなリフで急所をくすぐる……。歌メインのテンテンコ名義作品やライヴとは異なる趣の収録曲たちは、カシオトーン、リング・モジュレーター、オシレーター、サンプラー、ポータブル・シンセ──などの機材を自ら操って作られ、自宅スタジオで録りためたトラック、ライヴやイベントのために制作した作品などから構成されている。テンテンコの、宅録とライヴの現場というスペースを自由に往き来する活動スタイルと、アーティストとしての柔軟な姿勢が表現された”一家に一枚”の決定盤だ! 『日々変化する”テンテンコ”のイメージの中で、湿っていて深層心理を探る、ひとつ確率された自分。音楽と向き合うための時間と場所。それが「Deep & Moistures」です』 ……TENTENKO 『奇妙な響きと重さ、時に歪を持つこれらの楽曲群が、私には心地よく、切なくも楽しげに聴こえる』 ……伊東篤宏 テンテンコ: 惑星上で最も愛らしいエレクトロ・ノイズ・アイコン──TENTENKO (テンテンコ)。1990年生まれ。北海道出身。身長142cm。 2013年アイドルグループ ”BiS” に加入。2014年のBiS解散とともにフリーランスとして活動開始。歌モノ中心のアイドル的スタイルから、トラックメーカー/DJや電子楽器プレーヤーとして、また伊東篤宏とのユニット”ZVIZMO”での演奏など、様々なフィールドでの活躍をみせる。「90年代からの日本の”インディー霊”を全て背負っている。ヴァリエーションに富んだアヴァンギャルド表現者」などと評され、ジャンルや空間を自由に行き来し聖域なき活動を行っている。

It is true enigma of safe haven for sound from all over the world to find comfort, pulverizing solace and focus. I have personally experienced this bliss and stress that this is the time like no other when we must rise up together in support of such a priceless institution such as Soup. "Flowers in concrete" (a compilation for Soup) is an astounding, exclusive collection of customized compositions from Japan and international based artists that have come together to do what is right : HELP THIS PRICELESS VENUE ! Disc One (Side International) immediately blindsides with 14 stunning pieces. A variety of sonic approaches which NEED TO BE EXPEIENCED to be believed ! Standouts include BEING (my personal favorite), AARON DILLOWAY, SICKNESS, PURGIST and DANIEL MENCHE however ALL the artists on the first disc offer their own tailor made visions of challenging audio assembly. Exemplary work here by all and highly recommended listening. You can sense everyone took their time strategically and explored their own capabilities ! Disc Two (Side Japan) truly goes for "the creative and imaginative throat" with the most "next level" spectrum sound dynamics artist to artist. The BLACKPHONE666 and GC SKULL ELECTRONICS selections are utterly mind-blowing power. Each of these artists has truly defined themselves beyond description and the gradual maturity of each is critically evident. Top notch material also by GOVERNMENT ALPHA, KAZUMA KUBOTA, KAZUMOTO ENDO, LIKE WEEDS, PAIN JERK, LINEKRAFT, and the phenomenal SCUM really keep things colorized and transcending texturally and with pleasurable agonizing force ! Additional standout Wolf Creek just terrorizes the listener with their closing piece "Feeling of Imperative Stimmen". Excellent vision and attack to be sure. Easily one of THE BEST sound documents I have heard in many, many years ! To be sure, this could become a "book" if I were to discuss in detail all of the contributors here and go into their deep histories as artists and performers but the final word is HELP. HELP for Soup ! This is a massive undertaking of a release and every track within it is a potent "elixir" of individual, untainted expression. Let us all see the light at the end of the tunnel. If you're listening - attuned as deeply as your mind permits - field recordings, voice, radio, harsh teases, the world without man... they trickle in and out of your ears in tantalizing grace. Kjostad has witnessed massive growth since the debut "Wolf Knoll Road" of 2014. No, somehow his Breaking The Will persona does not rear it's maniacal head, although you might hear some heavy breathing beneath the mire. This recording, instead, has as much indebted to love as it does rage. Question and answer without finality. The birds still chatter as the society shatters... Something often lost in the era of new American noise/experimental is the capacity to conjure long-form tracks that feel whole and cohesive. Look no further you supplicant! There is a certain poignant brevity that is specific to Stefan's work and it inarguably shows itself within this LP. Ligature has steadily and excitedly evolved over its few short moments of existence. Influences have been shorn off and the project, as well, exists in a private-but-exposed place. Elements of spoken-word, heavier use of field recordings, and contemplative moods run rampant on these three tracks. Just like Kjostad, there's a bare intimacy running through the entire recording, even in moments that may seem to have a function of stirring up the listener's concentration. Hazy, periodically adrenalized, lingering on after the moment itself. A combined effort that is incredibly fitting; both engaging in similar but completely disparate approaches, both shining bright in the externalizing of deeper mental recesses. Is it time for year-end lists yet?

SNM was conceptualised some time ago and incepted right after the decision to end Sutcliffe Jugend and its official announcement made at the end of 2019. ‘The Unravelling’ is the inaugural release that officially paves the new artistic direction of Sutcliffe Jugend. This double album marks the continuity of their musical journey, and perseveres in the creative vision and sonic execution of Kevin and Paul. The maturity displayed in the 10 tracks and its progressive nature are dominantly presented through complex layered soundscapes and new dimensions of vocal ranges that feature ‘Scott Walker-esque’ baritone and soprano parts. The avoidance of cliched tunefulness and implementation of unusual notes, further accompanied by dark lyrics and subtly intense vocal aesthetics make all of this “essential to the ‘unravelling’ of the character“. At the start of the 1980s these London influences (Punk, early Industrial, radical conceptual art and more) were brought back to provincial Yugoslavia and blended with local cultural tendencies and histories, as well as other, unexpected sources such as post-structuralist philosophy and alchemy. Always remaining in the shadows, AutopsiA operated from an historic provincial town, sending out cryptic communications in the form of graphics, cassettes, and even early computer art. Over the years AutopsiA’s practice grew to include installation, performance and film work, all marked by its distinctive combination of technological and mystical sources. AutopsiA (in)famously and repeatedly announced that “20th Century is Dead” and the tragic and mythomaniacal quality of the work it produced in the late 1980s, bore witness to the death of modernity in Yugoslavia and its fall into pre-modern darkness. Autopsia gathers authors of different professions in realization of multimedia projects. Its art practice began in London in the late '70s of the last century, and continued during the '80s in art centers of the former Yugoslavia. Since 1990, Autopsia acts from Prague. At the beginning of its activity, Autopsia issued a dozen of MC's, in the period after 1989, twenty CDs were issued, at first for Staalplaat from Amsterdam, then for German label Hypnobeat and London's Gymnastic Records. Autopsia's music can be found on numerous compilations issued all over the world. One of its compositions is a part of the soundtrack for Peter Greenaway's film "Pillow Book". Music production of Autopsia is associated with a large graphic production which consists of original graphic objects, design of flyers, booklets, CD's and a web page autopsia.net, with its offsprings: Autopsia TV and Illuminating Technologies. Based on the old recording sessions in 2003 - 2007 this release captures the darkest and most beautiful moments of Shinkiro’s music: low-key synth textures merged with rhythmic cadences and slight distortions gradually unfolding roaming melodies, magnetic and cold undercurrents, ethereal epiphanies and ever present longing for the unattainable abyss. Three early unreleased albums assembled for the first time together manifest thrilling, oneiric and existentialist nature of Shinkiro’s nature exposed in its dark and cinematic mosaic: Japanese voice samples blended with strained piano parts, machinery industrial noises, ominous drones, ritual percussion, hypnotic hardware pads leading to the event horizon. Dissolve in the myriad of mysterious emanations towards colossal eschatological pleroma. Recommended for those who follow Lustmord, Apoptose. Amazing music is accompanied with an exquisite layout executed by Mauro Berchi (Eibon Records) and produced as a 2CD edition in a 4-panel gloss-laminated Digipak limited to 250. An oratorio with prelude and two noise interludes, based on Russian futurist Aleksej Kapitonovič Gastev, the “bard of the machine age”. FM Einheit (Mufti) is an industrial and electronic musician and actor, primarily known for his percussion and compositional work with Einstürzende Neubauten, notably on the classic albums: “Kollaps”, “Halber Mensch”, “Haus Der Luege”, “Tabula Rasa” and “Ende Neu”. He played the lead role in the 1984 feature film Klaus Maeck’s “Decoder”. He has also collaborated with musicians such as: Diamanda Galás, Eraldo Bernocchi, Mona Mur, KMFDM, Goethes Erben and many more. Andreas Ammer has been creating works with FM Einheit since the early 1990’s. “Just a moment longer, and through the confused chaos of these days, the legendary realisation of the future roar of events is triumphant” (A.K. Gastev, “A Bundle of Orders”). “Hammerschlag was premiered in 2019 at the Diaghilev Festival in Perm as a live concert with Teodor Currentzis , the chief conductor of the SWR Symphony Orchestra, as Aleksej Kapitonovič Gastev. The concert served as the basis for a German-Russian radio play version. In his last lyrical work “A Bundle of Orders”, published in 1921, Russian futurist Aleksej Kapitonovič Gastev wanted nothing more than to finally destroy literature. In a historical document there is a description of a concert based on the text: “The choir master stood on a balustrade, who conducted the sound with the help of a complicated signaling device. After this noise overture had raged for long enough time to completely numb the auditorium the real passion game began”. Aleksej Kapitonovič Gastev (1882 – 1939) was a Soviet revolutionary, poet, high-ranking union activist and scientist. When he became head of the Russian revolutionary Central Institute for Work with the psychotechnical optimisation of workflows (How do I really hit with the hammer?), he swore off poetry with “A Bundle of Orders” and at the same time created his most important lyrical work . He was executed under the orders of Stalin for counterrevolutionary activities.
